Over the past six months a group of young women has begun to partner with The Sheepfold, a local shelter for homeless or abused women with children. The Young Women of Vision group in Orange County is a group of over 70 high school students who are committed to serving their community while learning leadership tools to assist them in their future endeavors.

The Sophomore Class has coordinated two successful events for families at The Sheepfold this year.

At Christmas time they hosted a Christmas Tree Decorating Party, complete with a home cooked meal, cookie decorating, crafts, tree decorating, cookies, hot chocolate, and a reading of the Christmas story.

Recently they hosted a Saturday Night for all families of The Sheepfold. They provided dinner, dessert, and lots of fun activities – including fingernail painting (a favorite of the little girls) and crayon art.

Wonderful job women!
