Last week, 25 women from the WOV Charlotte chapter spoke out on behalf of children around the world who suffer from poor sanitation and dirty water.

They met with the office of Congressman Robert Pittinger, delivering 87 Water for the World postcards and sharing their passion with his office.

Did you know that in district meetings are a great way for your member of Congress take notice of an issue? The Water for the World Act H.R. 2901 was introduced in Congress in August. It is a bipartisan bill that will not require any additional money, but has the potential to bring big change.

The women of Charlotte spoke out. You can too:

– Sign the online petition and contact your representative.

– Join us in DC for the H2O:DC Conference in March where we’ll be advocating in person.
