Trip Opportunity: Migrant Farm Work in Immokalee, FL

Women of Vision partners are invited to join the Southwest, Florida Chapter and World Vision’s U.S. Programs for a memorable Vision Trip to Immokalee, FL June 1-3.

The  Immokalee Immersion trip “Women and Migrant Farm Work in the United States” offers a hands on real life learning experience. The goal of this trip is to build a greater awareness of the issues that millions of women face daily living in a household led by a migrant worker.

The cost for the 3-day trip is $250 which covers your housing, meals and ground transportation.  Participants are asked to make their own flight arrangements to Ft. Myers FL.

    What is the cost if I live near Immokalee and don’t need the housing and probably not the ground transportation. Thanks
