“All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.”

2 Corinthians 4:15 (NIV)

A happy and healthy Thanksgiving to you from the Women of Vision staff! As we head into this season of Thanksgiving, amid the anticipation and preparation for celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior, we stop to reflect and give thanks. All of us on the Women of Vision staff are grateful to serve alongside such a dedicated family of Women of Vision partners.

Because of the work you do alongside our donors and supporters, World Vision is able to carry out its mission to work with the poor and oppressed. Every day, World Vision is promoting human transformation, seeking justice, and bearing witness to the good news of God.

This Thanksgiving, let’s reflect on the many ways God has moved this year. Even when we look at the last few weeks that have been mired in terrorist actions, we see His light shining—from the ongoing Refugee Initiative work to celebrating the news that Sierra Leone has been declared Ebola Free.

Thank you for your on-going dedication to the work of World Vision and for the role you play. Please have a restful, blessed-filled Thanksgiving with your family, loved ones, and friends.
