Pray for economic development for women in Bolivia
World Vision works to strengthen women’s entrepreneurial skills and help them to start their own businesses so they can break poverty’s grip while inspiring a culture of respect and value for women in which their contributions are recognized and their rights are honored.

Lord God, we ask that your hand is over the women who participate in World Vision’s microenterprise opportunities in Bolivia. Bless the fruits of their labor and thank you for the generosity that makes this project possible.

Pray for midwives in rural Bolivia
In the poorest areas of Bolivia, many women die in childbirth or from complications during pregnancy because no one is qualified to help. Nationwide, about 190 women die for every 100,000 births—tragedies that can be prevented by having a trained midwife in each community. World Vision trains, certifies, and equips midwives to prevent maternal and child deaths. Pray for improved access to health services for families in the most remote, rural parts of the country.

Lord God, please provide sufficient resources for governments and development organizations to train midwives and provide life-saving services for mothers and children.

Pray for safety and joy for the travelers
Women of Vision arranges approximately four trips each year to various projects supported by groups through World Vision. This opportunity allows the participants to see how the projects are progressing and to share with all Women of Vision for encouragement.

Lord God, thank you for providing the opportunity for Women of Vision to travel to Bolivia. We pray for their safety over the trip and ask that if any problems come their way that Your hand would be with them and give them guidance.
