Bobbi Dauderman wins Diamond Awardby Melissa Johnson, Co-Chair, Women of Vision Orange County
Women of Vision Orange County is pleased to announce that partner Bobbi Dauderman received the inaugural “More Priceless Than Diamonds” Award on Saturday, Sept. 13th, presented by Vanguard University’s Global Center for Women and Justice (GCWJ). Three categories were honored: Outstanding Individual (Bobbi), Outstanding Business/Organization, and Outstanding Youth.
Bobbi has served as a partner of Women of Vision for almost 20 years. As Advocacy Chair for Women of Vision, she led the WOV California delegation on Capitol Hill to advocate for the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act and served on a national task force on advocacy strategy for Women of Vision. Additionally, she has volunteered for the past 18 years at the Shalimar Learning Center where she tutors young children at risk. She currently is advocating for the Water for the World Act and the Girls Count Act, which will allow girls greater access to education, health and social services, as well as the ability to vote, work and own property.
We salute Sandra Morgan, Director of GCWJ, for a wonderful event and celebration, and we congratulate Bobbi for her well deserved award. Very exciting for Bobbi to receive this award at the start of WOV’s 25th anniversary! Thank you, Bobbi, for all you do!
